Subject	New Reverse Switch Still No Reverse Lights

Message	I have replaced the reverse switch on the side of the 5-sp tranny and still no lights. Confirmed that the switch had continuity when pressed prior to installing. Pulled connector and bridged the leads on the harness and the reverse lights work perfectly. Any ideas as to why the switch isn't activating when I shift into reverse?
